Parks Canada has advised that the load rating for vehicles on two bridges – Brass Point Swing and Brass Point Fixed – are being reduced from 15 tonnes to 10 tonnes effective mid-May, 2024. The Private Lane Upgrade Assistance Program provides grants for residents who live on private lanes to upgrade their lane to improve access for emergency vehicles. Applications are now being accepted for 2024.
