See southfrontenac.net/Canada-day for full details on all events happening including shuttle bus locations.

“Canada Day is special in South Frontenac”, says Mayor Ron Vandewal. “The day is filled with so much for families to do across the whole community. Some of our fondest memories as kids are created at the Canada Day events. The fireworks show is sure to be phenomenal once again this year. Shuttle buses are being provided, so please use this service and let’s celebrate this wonderful community we live in.”

This is the second year of hosting one fireworks show. Last year, the fireworks were in Sydenham, and in 2025 they will be at Centennial Park in Harrowsmith.

Important Safety Reminders:

  • Canada Day events are often very busy. Residents are reminded to slow down and drive with extreme caution, particularly near the event sites at Glendower Hall, Centennial Park, The Point Park, and the Storrington Lions Hall.
  • Residents are reminded that pets often do not enjoy fireworks as much as their humans do. Please ensure pets are kept inside or tied up securely during the fireworks to prevent lost pets.

Volunteers are always needed. If you are interested in helping out at any of the events, email recsupport@southfrontenac.net.
