The 2024 construction season has begun in South Frontenac.

We’ve updated our Road Closures and Construction page with details on the main road construction projects planned this summer including maps of where the work will take place. You can also see real-time updates on Municipal 511 on this page.

Line Painting and Crack Sealing Work

Line painting of various roads will start May 30 until June 4. Roadway crack sealing operations will start June 3-14 on the following roads:

  • Battersea Road (Sunbury Village) – 3705 Battersea Road to Randy Clark Road

  • Road 38 – Desert Lake Road to Hinchinbrooke Road
  • Perth Road 10 – McComish Lane to Bedford Mills Road

Work is dependant on the weather. Be alert, expect delays, and obey all traffic control signage.
