South Frontenac Volunteers Invited to Annual Appreciation Luncheon

On November 16, 2024, Mayor Vandewal and Members of Council will welcome South Frontenac volunteers to their annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon. The luncheon will take place at the Sydenham Legion Hall from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm.

Guests will be provided a hot lunch made by local Chef Elisa from Rampant Kitchen. Attendees will enjoy comradery and will celebrate the hard work of the volunteers that make South Frontenac a thriving and welcoming rural community.

For a second year, nominations will be accepted for special recognition during the luncheon. The categories include ‘Youth Volunteerism’, ‘Good Neighbour’, and ‘Dedication Recognition’. Nominations will be reviewed, and one person from each category will receive a special thanks at the luncheon. If you would like to nominate someone for the recognition, please complete the nomination form before Friday, November 8, 2024.

The event is open to all South Frontenac residents who have generously volunteered their time in the past year. The luncheon is free to attend but a timely RSVP is required. Plus-ones are welcome. Volunteers are encouraged to register online before Friday, November 8, 2024.
