South Frontenac Opens Climate Change Survey

South Frontenac Township has launched their Climate Change survey to gather information for developing their Corporate Climate Change Action Plan. The survey will gather feedback from residents and businesses to align the Townships actions with community needs and to measure support for our climate initiatives.

Climate change is the most critical issue we face today. It will take action at every level, from federal, provincial and municipal governments to businesses and individuals, to address climate change. In the process of developing the Climate Change Action Plan the goals are to:

1. Identify where the Township can reduce greenhouse gas emissions within operations.
   
   
2. Evaluate risks and vulnerabilities to municipal infrastructure, services, and operations, to enhance resilience.

Members of the community are invited to take the Climate Change survey online by visiting surveymonkey.com/r/SouthFrontenacCCCASurvey.  The survey will be available until Wednesday, November 13, 2024.
