New look for southfrontenac.net

South Frontenac Township has updated its main website, southfrontenac.net to make it easier for residents and visitors to find information quickly. 

The website has a fresh, clean look with engaging visuals and simpler navigation but retains the same basic menu structure and robust Google search to make it a smooth transition for residents. The new website is also very mobile friendly, making it easy to find information quickly from a smart phone, tablet or computer. Residents can subscribe to receive news alerts and the Township’s monthly newsletter.

Highlights include:

• New Festivals and Events page featuring upcoming events and signature festivals
• Updated Building and Planning sections to make it easy to find forms, fees and applications
• New Residents and Visitor Information pages to make it easy for new residents and visitors to find information quickly

“Our goal was to make it easier for people to find the most important and searched for information like fire ban status quickly through menus and icons, but also use visuals to tell the story of what it’s like to live and visit here,” says Louise Fragnito, Chief Administrative Officer. “The photos showcase the natural beauty of our region and reflect the warm, welcoming and thriving community that is South Frontenac.” 

Check your bookmarks

Residents are invited to take a tour of the new site and check and update any old bookmarks. While redirect links have been set up for the most frequently accessed pages on the old site, it is possible old bookmarks could result in broken links.
