Holiday Hours and Garbage and Recycling Collection Changes

Our Township offices will be closed Friday Dec 22nd at noon and reopen on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2023 at 8 am.

For after hours emergencies such as trees down on roads, please call (613) 376-3027 and follow the instructions to speak with our after hours service. Please don’t email us, call a specific extension, or post issues requiring a response on social media —these channels are not monitored after hours. 

Garbage and Recycling Collection Changes

Christmas week – no collection December 25 or 26

• Monday collection moves to Wednesday
• Tuesday collection moves to Thursday
• Wednesday collection moves to Friday
• Thursday collection moves to Saturday

New Year’s week – no collection January 1

• Monday collection moves to Tuesday
• Tuesday collection moves to Wednesday
• Wednesday collection moves to Thursday
• Thursday collection moves to Friday

Our Loughborough landfill site will be closed December 25th and January 1^st.

Frontenac Community Arena hours

• December 24-26: CLOSED
• December 27: Public skating from 9:00 to 10:30 am
• December 29: Public skating from 12:30 to 3 pm: special 25^th anniversary free skate!
• December 30-31: CLOSED
• January 1: CLOSED

Just a reminder as well that winter parking restrictions are now in effect. There is no parking on Township roads between midnight and 7 am.
