Arundhati Mohile Joins South Frontenac Township as Director of Corporate Services and Treasurer

Arundhati Mohile, CPA, CMA has joined South Frontenac Township as the new Director of Corporate Services and Treasurer.

Arundhati has extensive experience in the municipal sector, having worked in a number of senior finance and operational roles for various municipalities in Ontario over the past 15 years, including as the Treasurer for the Township of Malahide, and most recently as a Manager in the City of Kingston’s Finance Department.

“Arun brings to the table many of the qualities we were looking for,” says Chief Administrative Officer Louise Fragnito. “She has very strong analytical skills and experience in risk management, strategic planning and IT initiatives as well as financial management. She is a great addition to our team.”

Financial sustainability and prudent financial management through long-term planning is identified as a core value in South Frontenac’s new Strategic Plan. While some municipalities are still in budget deliberations, South Frontenac Council passed its 2024 budget in December 2023 with a 2.74% increase.

“We have always been fortunate to have knowledgeable people at the helm who have helped us maintain a strong financial position in South Frontenac,” says Mayor Ron Vandewal. “Council looks forward to working with our new Director to manage our operations and assets in a responsible and financially sustainable manner.”
