Apply for a 2024 Community Grant

Did you know South Frontenac gave $41,895 in grants in 2023 to 14 different community organizations for projects and events?  We recognize the valuable contributions of community and volunteer groups who make South Frontenac a great place to live. We help and support these groups through our grant programs. We are now accepting applications until April 30, 2024 for our Community Grant program.

Community Grant Program

Community grants provide funds to organizations and events that enrich the quality of life within the Township. There are four grant streams: operating, capital, event sponsorship and community asset. The maximum amount you can apply for is $2,500 except for a capital grant where the maximum is $5,000.  See the Community Project Grant Program Policy for full details and to ensure your project and organization meets the guidelines. 

How to apply

Fill out the form on the Municipal Grants page on our website and submit it by mail, email, or in person in our offices by April 30, 2024. All applications will be reviewed by a committee after the closing date and approved by Council. Grant decisions will be announced in the spring.
