Community Improvement Plan

Community Improvement Plans (CIP) are one of the many sustainable community planning tools found in the Planning Act. They can help communities and municipalities address challenges that prevent optimization of areas that are currently underutilized. This tool provides a means of planning and financing development activities that effectively assist in the use, reuse and restoration of lands, buildings and infrastructure.

After a detailed evaluation process comparing several settlement areas within the County of Frontenac, the community of Harrowsmith was chosen for the most recent Community Improvement Plan. Please see the Harrowsmith CIP application form. Contact our planning and development department at 613 376-3027 or by email at planning@southfrontenac.net for more information or help.
