• ESA - The Electrical Safety Authority: the administrative authority mandated by the Government of Ontario to enhance public electrical safety in the province.
• Frontenac Maps - South Frontenac residents can access interactive mapping provided by Frontenac County and view and/or print aerial imagery of their property. These maps are intended for general reference only and shall not be interpreted as a legal survey and shall not be used to establish legal lot sizes or dimensions. • Hydro One - Information regarding electrical power and building near power lines
• MMAH - Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing. The ministry works with municipal partners and community stakeholders to develop policies and standards that address building safety, including structural soundness, occupant safety, and energy efficiency.
• MNR - Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry
• MOE - Ministry of Environment and Climate Change
• MPAC - The Municipal Property Assessment Corporation, responsible for the assessment values of properties across Ontario.
• OBOA - Ontario Building Officials Association. The OBOA plays a leading role in the education, training and professional development of Ontario's municipal building officials. On behalf of municipalities OBOA members administer provincial laws and municipal by-laws relating to the construction of all types of buildings and structures.
• Ontario One Call - Call Before You Dig: 1-800-400-2255. If you are planning to dig, build or excavate on your property, it is important you locate all of your utilities first. In fact, under Ontario regulations, it is the law.
• Tarion - Information on the Tarion Warranty Corporation and their services for new home buyers/builders.
• TSSA - Technical Standards & Safety Authority. Since 1997, the Technical Standards and Safety Authority has delivered public safety services on behalf of the government of Ontario.
• LRO - Land Registry Office: Search land ownership documents, including deeds, mortgages and plans of survey for title. This is Ontario's official record of land property (or land registration system). See Ontario Land Registry Access to search property records and documents.
