CRCA - Flood Watch Cancelled - Shoreline Conditions Statement

Kingston ON – Cataraqui Conservation has downgraded the Flood Watch (in effect since April 12, 2020), to a Shoreline Conditions Statement – Water Safety for Lake Ontario and the upper St. Lawrence River.

The Kingston Frontenac Public Library has been closely monitoring the developments related to COVID-19. This is a constantly evolving situation and an extraordinary time around the world. In consultation with the Library Board, I have made the decision to temporarily close all library branches from Monday, March 16 through Sunday, April 5.

QUINTE CONSERVATION ISSUES A WATER SAFETY STATEMENT FOR NOVEMBER 26 TO 28, 2019

Quinte Conservation has issued a Water Safety Statement for Lake Ontario and the Bay of Quinte due to a Gale Warning in effect, which forecasts strong winds and high waves.
